Sexual Harassment Prevention Training

San Francisco Zen Center requires all Staff members and Employees, as well as we request Zen Work Practice Apprentices, to take Sexual Harassment Prevention Training per California state law. We are utilizing the training offered by the California state government. Please read and follow the instructions below. Be aware that you can not stop and restart the training, it must be completed in one sitting. However, you can leave it open in your browser and step away briefly for bathroom break or cup of tea. After you have completed the training, print out the certificate, keep a copy for yourself and send a copy to the HR department at humanresources@sfzc.org.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the same HR email address or call 415.354.0378

Thank you,

Cat Li Stevenson

SFZC Director of Human Resources

California law requires all employers of 5 or more employees to provide 1 hour of sexual harassment and abusive conduct prevention training to nonsupervisory employees and 2 hours of sexual harassment and abusive conduct prevention training to supervisors and managers once every two years. The law requires the training to include practical examples of harassment based on gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation.
